  12. I read a review online at the Computer Shopper site, saying that
  13. Archtek makes some of the best modems for the least money.

  15. It said that Archtek works very well under bad line conditions and
  16. generallyt " a slugger of a modem with a great two-way punch ...the
  17. SmartLink is one of the top performers and best values in the test
  18. group."

  20. In fact, for good lines, they place it behind a Practical Peripherals
  21. modem and on lousy lines behind US Robotics.( The review covers lots
  22. of famous brands , like AT & T, Hayes, Boca, Cardinal, Zoom, Motorola,
  23. MultiTech, PPI, USR.

  25.  Quite a rave for so inexpensive a modem.  I've found the 28.8
  26. internal for $119.

  28. Does anyone have an Archtek? Is it as good as this article claims?
