- I read a review online at the Computer Shopper site, saying that
- Archtek makes some of the best modems for the least money.
-
- It said that Archtek works very well under bad line conditions and
- generallyt " a slugger of a modem with a great two-way punch ...the
- SmartLink is one of the top performers and best values in the test
- group."
-
- In fact, for good lines, they place it behind a Practical Peripherals
- modem and on lousy lines behind US Robotics.( The review covers lots
- of famous brands , like AT & T, Hayes, Boca, Cardinal, Zoom, Motorola,
- MultiTech, PPI, USR.
-
- Quite a rave for so inexpensive a modem. I've found the 28.8
- internal for $119.
-
- Does anyone have an Archtek? Is it as good as this article claims?
